When using EyeCandy v3 with PhotoImpact, be aware that not all the effects come out the way you expect. I have noticed that if you are applying an effect that goes outside the graphic you are applying it to, then there will be a problem with the background not showing through the effect being applied.

For example, if you applied the flames effect to a graphic on a coloured background. There will be a blocking effect. The example below shows you what I mean. A white background seems to be fine.
